Details of Opportunity:

The Asia Pacific Masters Games (ASPAC) is offering opportunities to become a Sponsor of one the world's fastest growing sport and lifestyle events.

ASPAC is a multi sport event encompassing 45 sports, which is held on the Gold Coast every two years. The event is targeted to the 30+ age segment and it is anticipated that in excess of 5,000 athletes from Australia and more than 20 countries will converge on the Gold Coast to participate in ASPAC 2002. This figure is anticipated to grow to over 10,000 participants in 2004 and 2006.

The Games proudly showcase Australia's love of a relaxed lifestyle and participation in sport, as well as providing an exceptional opportunity to further your marketing efforts in a manner that evokes genuine appreciation and respect for our sponsors.

Following the huge success of the 1998 and 2000 Asia Pacific Masters Games, the 2002 event continues to provide exceptional sponsorship opportunities.

With the Games confirmed on the Gold Coast as an ongoing event until at least 2006, the growth potential for sponsors through an association with the event is evident.

ASPAC 2002 will provide a platform for sponsors to target a highly sought after, financially secure market. Sponsors also have the potential to gain additional national & international exposure and join other significant corporate partners who support the exciting concept that is the Asia Pacific Masters Games.

The target market is right, the opportunity for a long term partnership is there and the potential to expand and develop the arrangements for both parties is assured.

The sponsorship packages to this great event will be valued according to the benefits sought, and the following proposal details how an association with The Asia Pacific Masters Games would provide valuable benefits, exposure and financial returns.

Reasons for Sponsorship Consideration:

With the rapidly changing attitude of the global community to continued health and fitness, Masters Games are becoming one of the largest and most rapidly growing of all major sports events.

The Asia Pacific Masters Games is a unique event in that it provides a 'professional' arena for amateur sports people to compete against one another in a relaxed environment. The philosophy of the Games is based on participation rather than winning and is fully supported by a highly professional organisation and management structure.

Sponsors are invited to become a key part of this exciting event and support a way of life based on friendship, fitness, social interaction and of course, sport. We look forward to discussing how we can leverage your involvement to ensure that you receive quality exposure and a maximum return on investment.
