The general trading terms for most all scoreboard and electronic display sales are 50% deposit upon order with the balance payable upon completion of fabrication prior to delivery. Some projects warrant additional installment/progress payments or slightly varied terms of payment. These payment terms will usually be specified in the quotation provided to the customer.

Payments accepted are Electronic Funds Transfer, Bank Checks, Company Checks, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Moneys are considered paid when the funds the bank has cleared the funds. International purchases must be made by Electronic Funds Transfer. Bank and credit card fees are passed on to the customer.

An order is deemed received when the first deposit payment has been received and the approval schematic drawing (if required) has been signed by the customer and returned to AusSport by fax or email.

Prices provided are for the fabrication only. Freight is FOB/CAT the AusSport factory and is the responsibility of the customer.

All AusSport products are under warranty Most all products are made to order and there are no refunds on custom orders. Standard stocked products returned may incur a 40% restocking fee.

The usual fabrication period is 4-6 weeks from the date of the order commencing. This period may be longer or shorter dependent upon the current work load in the AusSport factory at the time. Be sure to allow enough lead time when placing your order as AusSport is not responsible, nor can we guarantee any specific delivery date as our fabrication period often relies on factors that we cannot control such as delayed product delivery, strikes, etc.

DAMAGES/CLAIMS
Be sure to inspect your merchandise. All shipments must be inspected at time of delivery for shortages and damages. Notations of any shortage or damage to the merchandise or packing must be made on the delivery receipt before signing. Concealed damage not visible at time of delivery must be reported to carrier within 5 days after delivery. All claims for damage or shortage must be filed within 30 days directly with carrier that made the delivery, NOT WITH AUSSPORT.

STANDARD WARRANTY
•  Warranty on AusSport scoreboards is for the period of 24 months from the date of invoice against defects in materials and workmanship. First year service includes cost of labor and parts when returned prepaid to AusSport. Remaining year covers parts only when returned insured, prepaid to AusSport.

•  The Warranty is limited to replacement of faulty parts and labor.

•  Batteries and fuses are excluded from this warranty.

•  All warranty repairs should be verified by phone prior to the despatch of any equipment or service personnel.

•  All warranty repairs are return to base with freight to the designated service center the responsibility of the purchaser. Return freight costs to the purchaser will be by the company except if air or specials methods of return is specified.

•  If the purchaser requires on site repairs, the purchase is to pay for call out and traveling time costs (both ways) for an AusSport technician or designated service agent.

•  When carried out at the AusSport factory, the cost of all on site lab our and parts will be covered by AusSport. AusSport will not accept any charges for time and materials used by unauthorized persons.

•  Should any product require special access equipment eg. Ladders, scaffold etc, the purchaser is responsible to provide such equipment to allow access for servicing.

•  Warranty shall be void if any alteration or service is performed without the manufacturer's authorisation.

•  Damage caused by power surges, lighting strikes, arc welders, megger testing etc are not covered by warranty.

•  All warranties are void if the equipment is not installed as described in the installation instructions and procedures.

•  Products damaged by accident, neglect, abuse, acts of vandalism, shipping damage, installation damage, misuse and operator negligence, or other natural disasters, including but not limited to: fire, wind, lightning and flood is not covered by warranty.

•  AusSport neither makes nor authorizes any agent or representative to make other warranty of fitness, or of merchantability, guarantee, or representation, express or implied concerning its products.

•  Warranty will be null and void if the terms of payment have not been met.

•  Warranty is null and void if the AusSport logo has been removed from the scoreboard or display.

•  Critical and unforeseen factors, beyond the control of the manufacturer, prevent if from eliminating all risks in connection with the use of the products. Such risks occur even though the products are reasonably fit for their intended use. The Buyer and user acknowledge and assume all risks and liability resulting from the handling, storage and use of these products, including all consequential damages resulting therefrom, except those expressly stated heron.

•  Warranty is not transferable.

•  Any claim on defects or programming must be reported within 30 days of receipt of unit by the customer or they are void from warranty.
